Material - Heat-treated tungsten carbide tips provide excellent hardness and toughness, wear resistance, heat resistance for long-lasting performance and extended tool life. The sprayed coating has a smooth, even surface that resists rust and corrosion.
Feature - The center spur helps guide it through wood and ensure accurate start holes. The head adopts 3 flutes, 4 spurs, 15 degree angel cutter and arc curve, which has low cutting resistance, smooth chip removal, uniform force and higher perforation efficiency.
Applications - The forstner bit is suitable for softwood, hardwood, solid wood, plywood, laminate and MDF. Easily drills flat-bottomed and pocket holes with precise, smooth finish. Widely used for furniture joints and woodworking projects, such as mortise joints, dowels, hinge cups, shelf pin, pocket screw.
Note - Used with handheld drills, drill presses, CNC routers etc. Recommended to use on desktop (fixed) equipment. Do not drill metal and non-ferrous metals. Use a cutting oil or lubricant, hold still, control the speed, apply pressure gradually, and always wear protective equipment.
